The innovation of this product is the self-adhesion of the product without the use of another adhesive and also the use of a cheap bitumen base (Vacuum bottom VB grade) and thermoplastic elastomers. The present invention belongs to a special product has been produced to solve the technical problem in the insulation of Cryogenic Storage Tanks in which obtaining moisture insulation with self-adhesion capability and high resistance to water vapor permeation so that the vapor permeation is less than or equal to 0.02 perm and on the other hand has good flexibility at low temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, and also has thermal stability up to at least 65 degrees Celsius.

Briefly describing, our product is a self-adhesive membrane based on bitumen that can be simply and easily used as an insulating layer to prevent vapour permeation. The problem of providing a cheap and suitable barriers to prevent water vapour from permeation between the layers of thermal insulation (foam glass blocks) under cryogenic storage tanks is solved by our product, BDPC. The innovation of BDPC is the self-adhesion of the product without the use of another adhesive material or components and also the use of a cheap bitumen base (Vacuum bottom VB grade) and thermoplastic elastomers.
